Cryptoassets and Civil Procedure Law (Singapore edition) examines how Singapore’s civil procedure law responds to the advent of cryptoassets.

It is divided into 13 parts. Each part is dedicated to a problem that a party to a civil proceeding before the Singapore courts may face. The solution provided by Singapore’s civil procedure law is discussed, as well as an analysis of how well that solution responds to the advent of cryptoassets. Given the borderless nature of cryptoassets, this publication also discusses the enforcement or recognition of Singapore court judgments by the courts of foreign jurisdictions.

The Singapore Academy of Law (‘’SAL”), in collaboration with the Singapore International Commercial Court (“SICC”), is organising the Singapore International Commercial Court Conference 2025 (“SICCC”) on 14 and 15 January 2025 at the ParkRoyal Collection Marina Bay Singapore. In this webinar, District Judges from the Court Dispute Resolution Cluster (CDRC) of the State Courts will share on the recent new developments in the law and procedure which have impacted the practice of personal injury claims. The topics discussed will include the High Court judgment in Salmizan Bin Abdullah v Crapper Ian Anthony [2023] SGHC 75, the effect of the new Rules of Court 2021, and the changes to the CDRC case conference process.
