The competition will be based on a single, comprehensive legal scenario designed to encompass multiple areas of legal practice. Participants will be challenged to create AI prompts that direct AI models to produce outputs across various critical legal tasks. For example, the scenario will require participants to generate prompts that guide AI in analysing legal precedents, summarising case law, and predicting outcomes relevant to a complex merger situation.
Additionally, participants will be tasked with creating prompts for drafting legal documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and international standards. Ethical considerations will also play a role, as participants must ensure their prompts align with the ethical standards of legal practice and avoid biases in AI outputs.
The competition’s integrated approach will allow participants to demonstrate their ability to apply AI in various aspects of legal practice while adhering to the good practices outlined in the PE Guide.
This is an individual competition.
