The Family Law Masterclass for the Advanced Practitioner traverses the breadth and depth of family matters. While the standard topics such as matrimonial and divorce proceedings, maintenance, adopt, maintenance, will be covered, their treatment will focus on complex issues that experienced family lawyers may encounter or are increasingly encountering in their practice, such as pre-nuptial agreements, co-mingling of assets, gay adoption, enforcement of foreign divorce orders and more.
The course is targeted at family law practitioners with at least 5 years of family law practice experience.
Those who have successfully completed the Family Therapeutic Justice Certification Programme (FTJCP) may receive a 10% discount off the course fee. Goh Kok Yeow
Kok Yeow specialises in Probate / Trusts laws and Intellectual Property laws. He has practised law for more than 38 years. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in July 1987, and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in June 1988. He has been a partner of the Firm since 1991. He is also a Member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. Since 2011, Kok Yeow has been an Adjunct Senior Teaching Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Legal Education for Wills, Probate and Administration (WPA) for the Part B Course. From 2015 to 2017, he was the Subject Co-ordinator for the WPA Course. Kok Yeow is also the Co-Chairman of the Law Society of Singapore’s Probate Practice Committee.

Raymond Yeo
Raymond started his professional career handling a wide range of work including civil and contractual claims such as personal injuries and general litigation work, corporate secretarial work and criminal practice with the primary focus on family law. Heremains in active litigation practice from 1998 to date, handling cases commencing in the Family Justice Courts to instituting and defending cases in the High Court and in the Court of Appeal. Raymond has since developed a specialist area of practice and he runs his own boutique law firm providing services in the area of family and matrimonial law. He undertakes a wide variety of cases relating to matrimonial and family law ranging from applications under the Mental Capacity Act to foreign divorces with complex cross-border jurisdictional and foreign claims. He has extensive litigation experience in cases concerning acrimonious custody disputes as well as division of assets of substantial values. Raymond is also actively involved as a Principal Mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre. Raymond was also appointed by the Family Justice Courts as an Amicus Curiae and he is listed as a Child Representative with the Family Justice Courts for cases involving custody disputes. Raymond is also a trained Parenting Coordinator, having completed his Advanced Parenting Coordination Training Program jointly organized by the Family Justice Courts together with the Law Society of Singapore as well as completed a training course on Parenting Coordination with the Hong Kong Academy of Law. |

Shaun Ho
Shaun Ho is a special counsel in the family team at Withers KhattarWong. He is a specialist family lawyer with experience in all areas of family law. This includes divorce, guardianship and custody applications, adoption (especially where the proposed adopter(s) is/are LGBT individuals), maintenance, family violence, division of assets (especially involving high net worth individuals and involving family businesses), and the drafting of pre-nuptial agreements and other marital agreements. Shaun has been listed in the Doyle's Guide since 2022, and has been recognised as a 'Future Star' by Benchmark Litigation Asia Pacific in 2025. Shaun has been involved in several high-profile cases involving non-traditional family units including the landmark 2018 case of UKM v Attorney-General. He also has a particular interest in the international relocation of children. Shaun also has substantial experience in cases involving the division of assets, where the pool of matrimonial assets includes assets that are atypical of most families. Shaun is also experienced in alternative dispute resolution methods, including negotiation and mediation. |

Tan Kah Wai
Kah Wai was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2020. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and a Master of Laws (International Business Law) from King’s College London. He possesses specialist expertise in mental capacity and private wealth disputes. Not only did he co-author the first substantive monograph on the Singapore’s Mental Capacity Act 2008, he also penned multiple academic articles on Singapore’s mental capacity law, some of which are regularly cited in medico-legal journals including the Medical Law Review. |

Clement Yap Harry Elias Partnership LLP
Clement is a Partner in Harry Elias Partnership LLP’s Family and Divorce Practice Group. He specialises in contested matrimonial litigation, with a specific focus on cross-border divorces. He has acted as lead counsel in the Family Justice Court, Supreme Court and Syariah Court. Clement holds the concurrent appointment of Assistant Professor (Adjunct) at the National University of Singapore’s (‘NUS’) Faculty of Law. Clement designs and teaches the Specialised Topics in Family Law module. In 2023 Clement was recognised by Singapore Business Review as one of Singapore’s 30 Most Influential Lawyers Under 40. Clement was ranked as a Recommended lawyer in the 2023 to 2025 editions of Doyle’s Guide: Leading Family & Divorce Lawyers – Singapore. Clement has been involved in many notable decisions, such as:-
