Marcus Lim
Leader, lawyer, teacher, trainer. Marcus Lim has spent over a decade in senior leadership roles and delivering conflict management and technology workshops worldwide. He holds a double-degree in Law and Business from the National University of Singapore and a certification in Conflict & Change Management using the Thomas-Kilmann Instrument. Marcus began his career with the Technology & Telecommunications Team at Rajah & Tann Singapore before being appointed founding Executive Director and later CEO of the Singapore International Mediation Institute. Under his leadership, SIMI became a global brand with international collaborations and a growing network of professional mediators. He then set up the Singapore Office for Lupl, a legal tech platform, as its Country Manager and later Director (APAC). He now leads a growing team of financial planners. A certified mediator, Marcus has resolved disputes through the Singapore Mediation Centre and as a court-appointed mediator for the Small Claims Tribunal. He regularly trains corporate professionals in conflict management, with clients including the Civil Service College of Singapore, CMS Hong Kong, and Assas International (Singapore). A firm believer in learning by doing, Marcus' teaching style is often described as entertaining, insightful, and practical. |
