Mr. Mark Fisher
Executive Director, Asian Business Law Institute (ABLI)

Mark is the Executive Director of the Asian Business Law Institute (ABLI), a subsidiary of the Singapore Academy of Law. ABLI is the first think-tank dedicated to the promotion of the convergence of business laws in Asia. Previously, Mark practiced complex litigation in Australia for both international (Jones Day) and domestic (Clayton Utz) law firms, particularly matters regarding securities litigation and matters involving private international law.

Ms. Michelle Chua
Senior Assistant Director, Legal Research, Singapore Academy of Law

Michelle is a legal researcher currently specialising in the development of generative AI tools for LawNet, the leading research platform for Singapore law.

She previously practiced commercial and civil litigation in medium-sized local law firms before serving as a Senior Regulatory Counsel at the Law Society of Singapore, overseeing interventions into law firms and inadequate professional services complaints made against solicitors.

She holds an LL.B. from the National University of Singapore and was admitted to the Singapore bar in 2015.

For this activity, this includes signing in on arrival and signing out at the conclusion of the activity in the manner required by the organiser, and not being absent from the entire activity for more than 15 minutes.
