    The Legal Profession Symposium will gather legal professionals to explore ethical issues shaping the profession. In conjunction with Mental Health Day, the event will combine thought-provoking discussions with wellness initiatives, which integrates insights from the Ethics and Professional Standards Committee (EPSC) recommendations to foster a holistic approach to ethical practice. Highlights of the wellness offerings include mental wellness resources, a complimentary massage corner by Atos Wellness, along with a booth from Singlife and wellness partners. 

     

    Engage with one of the most influential voices in legal ethics

    Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from distinguished speakers including Mr Pav Gill, the whistleblower behind Europe’s €24 billion Wirecard fraud and founder of Confide Platform. Also speaking at the event are Senior Counsel such as Mr Siraj Omar (Drew & Napier), Dr Stanley Lai SC and Mr Jason Chan SC (both of Allen & Gledhill), among others.

     

    Complimentary Ethics Journal

    Attendees will receive a complimentary copy of the newly revised A Civil Practice Journal which serves as a practical guide to professional courtesy and etiquette delivered in a light-hearted tone.

     

    Jus Debate

    The symposium closes with the return of the Jus Debate where participating law schools will deliver a lively debate on the nobility of the profession. Expect a theatrical, high-energy affair, complete with costumes, props, and plenty of drama.
