Li Weina 

 

Since 2009, Weina has been designing and conducting Chinese Language, & Business Chinese courses to working professionals for various private institutions and public sectors both face-to-face and online. 


Some of the law firms she had conducted trainings for include WongPartnership, Rajah & Tann, JurisAsia LLC and Reynolds Porter Chamberlain LLP. Topics include crypto fraud, anti-corruption, legacy planning, family office etc.  


She had also worked as an interpreter for government bodies such as the Singapore Competition & Consumer Commission (SCCC) and the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) where she was the interpreter for closed-door 
investigations and hearings. 


Drawing from her past working experiences and industry knowledge, Weina is able to design in-depth learning materials targeted to the corporate learners’ specific needs, guiding them to be effectively and professionally bilingual. 


One of the key highlights of her output-oriented teaching style includes the effective code switching and translation between English and Chinese which allow the learners to grasp not only the industry jargons but also the Chinese syntax and underlying differences in logic.

She is an Associate Adult Educator with the Adult Education Network (AEN) under IAL since 2018 and holds the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) certified by Workforce Singapore. She is also certified by the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) with the Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (CTCSOL).
