Advance Your Advocacy at the ECC-SAL International Mooting Competition 2026 The ECC-SAL International Mooting Competition returns on 9–10 January 2026, with the finals on 14 January, offering emerging advocates a prestigious platform to sharpen their advocacy and gain recognition among peers and leaders of the profession. The winning team will receive an all-expenses-paid two-week internship at Essex Court Chambers in London, with additional awards for Best Speaker, Best Memorandum, and Best International Team. New in 2026: The competition is now open to lawyers with 1–4 years PQE, broadening this opportunity for young advocates to showcase their talent.

DATES OF THE COMPETITION
The preliminary rounds of the Competition are scheduled to take place on a round-robin basis. The remaining rounds will take place on an elimination basis, starting with the Quarter-Finals.
