Adriel Pang
Senior Manager , Accounting Advisory & Deloitte Learning Solutions

 

Adriel is a Singapore Chartered Accountant with more than 12 years of public accounting experience mainly in Singapore. He started his career in the audit department and gained experience in managing portfolio of engagements including standalone or group audits of proposed initial public offerings, listed and privately-owned companies operating in a vast range of industries such as shipping, healthcare and retail/ trading. 


His professional experience also extends to Australia where he spent 7 months on an overseas secondment. He subsequently moved on to the Deloitte Business Advisory team and in the current role, he provides accounting advisory services to companies within the Southeast Asia region on complex accounting matters and convergence from local accounting standards to the International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”). This includes performing detailed gap analysis, providing guidance on implementation of the various IFRSs, assisting in the formulation of the remediation plan, and facilitating IFRS trainings for clients. 


He has also been involved in advisory projects related to planned transactions e.g. corporate restructuring and performed an annual report benchmarking exercise for a Singapore listed real estate group. 


He is also a core facilitator in the Deloitte Learning Solutions (the corporate training arm of Deloitte) for both internal and external corporate training workshops, covering topics ranging from technical audit skills, softs skills e.g., business chemistry and communication, as well as technical accounting/ finance. 


Adriel graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University and is currently a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants. Adriel has also attained the Advanced Certificate In Learning And Performance (“ACLP”) from the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL).

SILE Attendance Policy

Participants who wish to obtain CPD Points must comply strictly with the Attendance Policy set out in the CPD Guidelines. For this activity, participants are reminded to sign in on arrival and sign out at the conclusion of each day of the event in the manner required by the organiser. Participants must not be absent from each day of the event for more than 15 minutes. Participants may obtain 6.5 Public CPD Points for each day of the event on which they comply strictly with the Attendance Policy.
