SAL’s Lexplorer Programme brings you 1:1 Career Coaching with the SAL Panel of Career Coaches - a group of senior legal practitioners who have undergone specialised training to provide career coaching and advisory support, and are appointed for their wealth of legal experience and commitment to helping legal professionals build meaningful and sustainable careers. This programme is designed for legal professionals across all career stages (junior, mid or senior) from any legal industry career track.
How You Can Benefit
The 1:1 Career Coaching Programme is focused on supporting your career development as a legal professional. Depending on your needs, this may include:
- Direction-Setting: Clarify your career direction and aspirations, explore career transitions within the legal sector, finding purpose in your professional journey
- Growth: Growing in your current role, planning for career advancement, building professional confidence, developing legal leadership skills, pursuing law entrepreneurship (e.g., starting a firm, building a client base), specialising in particular practice areas
- Sustainability: Maintaining work-life balance, building resilience against burnout, managing workplace conflict
Do note that Lexplorer does not cover the following:
- Job placement or recruitment services
- Technical legal or skills training
- Ongoing mentorship relationships
- Mental health therapy or counselling
- Coaching outside the legal career context
How it Works
Each purchase entitles you to two private coaching sessions with one coach from the Panel.
Once you book your first session, you will continue with the same coach for your follow-up session. After your purchase, SAL will provide you with a booking link to select your preferred coach and schedule your first appointment. Once confirmed, you will continue with the same coach for your second session. Your two sessions must be completed by 31 December 2026.
All sessions are strictly private and confidential.

IMPORTANT:
1. 1:1 Coaching Sessions are available exclusively to SAL members.
2. Registrations are strictly non-transferable to any other individual.
3. Each purchase entitles you to 2 coaching sessions with 1 coach from SAL’s Panel of Career Coaches.
4. Each SAL member is entitled to register for only 1 package of 1-1 Career Coaching per programme run.
5. All 1:1 Coaching Sessions for the 2025–2026 run must be utilised no later than 31 December 2026, regardless of the date of purchase.
