Delivery: Zoom

Conducted by internationally renowned contract drafting expert, Ken Adams will take participants through the drafting process and share essential techniques of drafting deal terms effectively. This hands-on online course explores how to draft contracts that express deal terms clearly and effectively, saving you time and money, enhancing your competitiveness, and mitigating risk. Rather than simply lecturing, Ken uses interactive exercises, encouraging participation and addressing practical considerations related to the drafting process. This masterclass is valuable for both junior and senior legal professionals, with tips that apply to all contracts drafted in English, whatever the governing law.

Participants will receive a copy of Ken’s publication A Manual of Style for Contract Drafting (5th Edition, ABA Publishing) as part of the course fee. As the books will be shipped from overseas, please register and pay for the course by 31 December 2025 to receive your copy before the course start date.

For registrations and payments received from 1 January 2026 onwards, the books will be ready for collection 4 weeks after the end of the course. Participants will be required to pick up their copy from the SAL office at The Adelphi, 1 Coleman Street, #07-01.
